Austrak's head office is in Brisbane and its current manufacturing facilities are located in Rockhampton QLD, Geelong VIC and Port Hedland WA. An additional manufacturing facility is planned to open in Wagga Wagga NSW in mid-2007.

Wedgefield

2000 to present - capacity of over 500,000 sleepers/year

A second, state-of-the-art factory was built in Port Hedland to supply concrete sleepers for the construction of a new iron ore railway in the Pilbara (North Western Australia). This factory continues to produce concrete sleepers and turnout bearer sets for our customers in the Pilbara.
