Austrak's head office is in Brisbane and its current manufacturing facilities are located in Rockhampton QLD, Geelong VIC and Port Hedland WA. An additional manufacturing facility is planned to open in Wagga Wagga NSW in mid-2007.

Tennant Creek

2002 to 2003 - 700,000 sleepers/year

The contract to manufacture sleepers for the Alice Springs to Darwin rail line was awarded in April, 2001. The Tennant Creek factory was in production by February 2002, producing 15,000 sleepers per week (700,000 per year).
