Austrak designs, builds, commissions and operates manufacturing facilities for concrete sleepers and turnout bearers. This includes all of the specialised plant and moulds necessary to meet client requirements. Our factories are generally of a high output nature.

We have an ongoing program to improve efficiency and safety in the design of the factories, processes and plant. Environmental requirements for noise, recycling, handling of waste and air quality, are also high on the priority list when designing our factories.

We are also able to leverage resources and technology from our strategic partner, Abetong Teknik, for improvements.
